Assist in the preparation of design calculation packages, develop structural technical specifications, and support designers with design drawing development (based on the analysis performed) for use in work package development and construction activities
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
You will perform the structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment and piping supports, and foundations, for both static and dynamic load cases for a variety of projects
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Apply your knowledge of materials, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design
Support structural estimation and bid development for project proposals.

There is the potential for you to travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited university required; EIT certification preferred
Must be a US citizen with documentation for badge access
Pass a security questionnaire and background check appropriate to position duties
Proficient in Microsoft Office; preferred experience with structural analysis software (SAP2000, RISA connection, AutoCAD/Revit, FEA software)
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
Regular, reliable attendance
Strong work ethic and initiative required
GPA above 3.0 preferred
