Lead quality strategy and QMS for transit projects, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Tasks
-Sets QA compliance objectives and ensures that targets are achieved. -Reviews or develops the terms and conditions of the contract between the Owner and Aecon, and for the requirements of Aecon's company policy related to quality control and assurance. -Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Acting as the primary representative for projects relating to Quality Management. -Determining and implementing the actions required to ensure the QMS will achieve its intended results. -Verifying that all Quality Documentation conforms to applicable Project Requirements. -Developing and implementing a program for Opportunities for Improvement in respect of potential Nonconformities or continual improvement initiatives. -Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of the QMS into projects and auditing and reporting on the performance of the QMS. -Keeps quality regulations, codes and standards, advising management of any business implications of these changes. Lead, manage and ensure proper training is developed and conducted. -Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. -Scheduling and coordinating Independent Quality Audits, Internal Quality Audits and External Quality Audits of all key processes and reporting the findings. -Prepares quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. -Reports QMS performance to top management and awareness of the QMS throughout their respective SBU/Division/Segment. -Developing and implementing a program for correction, and where applicable, Corrective Action in respect of Nonconformities.

What You Bring
-Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) processes that are to comply with applicable standards, codes and regulations. -Extensive knowledge of Quality System regulatory requirements. -Bachelor's degree in engineering/science-related field with a minimum of 20 years of industry experience in quality assurance within the construction industry. -Ability to apply technical knowledge, critical analysis and decision-making skills to identify and resolve issues. -Strong demonstrated written, oral and presentational skills. -Fluency is both English and French is required. -Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder relationship management skills. -Proven ability in coordinating efforts to support, mentor and audit Quality Management System requirements. -Minimum of 10 years of leading and managing teams. -Experience in planning and managing Quality Assurance and internal processes.
