Tasks

Monitor telecom and control system installations (CCTV, access control, PABX, VMS, data & voice systems, fiber optic cables, fire alarm, public address, and evacuation systems). This position requires close interaction with contractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring that all inspections, tests, and documentation are completed with accuracy and efficiency. Monitor ongoing inspection and testing activities with the construction/production team and report deviations or quality issues. Ensure that all RFIs and MIRs submitted by contractors are in accordance with approved materials, standards, and specifications. Track and ensure timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised during inspections. Ensure proper identification and traceability of all materials used in the project. Ensure work is executed as per international standards and project specifications, including SAES-T, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, UL, TIA/EIA. Verify material inspection, calibration of measuring/testing equipment, and storage conditions to maintain compliance. Supervise installation of electrical works such as conduits, cable trays, trunking, duct banks, panels, switchboards, and wiring systems. Witness and verify all testing, commissioning, and pre-commissioning inspections in line with project and client requirements. Lead quality inspections for Substation and OHTL works, including grounding, HV/MV/LV cable pulling, laying, dressing, jointing, and termination. Review and maintain QA/QC records such as ITPs, PQP, checklists, inspection reports, NCRs, weekly QA/QC reports, and logbooks. As part of our QA/QC team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical works comply with QMS procedures, project specifications, and client requirements, while coordinating effectively with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. Candidates with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approval will be given preference. What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Technical expertise in Substation and OHTL inspection, testing, and commissioning. We are looking for a QC Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Substation and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, with hands-on knowledge of inspection, testing, commissioning, and quality control activities. The role requires excellent technical understanding of HV/MV/LV systems, grounding, cabling, telecommunication installations, and international standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, SAES-T, UL, TIA/EIA). Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Approvals: SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) approval is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of QMS procedures, ITPs, PQPs, and QA/QC reporting systems. We are looking for a highly skilled QC Electrical Engineer with strong, proven experience in Substation and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects. The candidate will play a critical role in supervising and monitoring all electrical and telecommunication works to ensure that construction activities comply with quality standards, project specifications, QMS procedures, and international codes. Excellent communication and reporting skills for coordination with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders. Familiarity with ASTM, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC standards. Ability to manage and guide QC inspectors, ensuring inspection activities are carried out effectively. -Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). -Technical expertise in Substation and OHTL inspection, testing, and commissioning. -Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. -Approvals: SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) approval is highly preferred. -Strong knowledge of QMS procedures, ITPs, PQPs, and QA/QC reporting systems. -Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven work experience in large-scale electrical construction, with specific expertise in: Substation Projects (132kV, 230kV, 380kV or equivalent). Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) Projects. -Excellent communication and reporting skills for coordination with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders. -Familiarity with ASTM, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC standards. -Ability to manage and guide QC inspectors, ensuring inspection activities are carried out effectively.
