Tasks

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Project Lead, Level II, to join our client’s site in Austin, Texas. This role will support IT Project Management Office by performing project coordination work across one or more projects concurrently. Responsibilities include coordinating the initiation, planning, scheduling, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of assigned tasks. The Project Lead will collaborate with IT staff and business customers to plan, monitor, and report on the progress and implementation of moderate to complex business solutions. -Responsible for planning, coordination, project monitoring, and project status reporting. -Provide technical assistance to project managers with documentation (plans, schedules, status reports, meetings, change requests). -Assist with coordination of tasks during project execution. -Work with data related to project execution. -Coordinate initiation, planning, scheduling, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of assigned tasks. -Lead technical team meetings and remove impediments with stakeholders. -Assist project managers in implementing project goals and ensuring timely execution. -Provide updates on assigned work to project managers. -Collaborate with IT staff and business customers to accomplish work. -Support test coordination, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). -Schedule and organize meetings; facilitate and take notes; communicate results, action items, and decisions. -Plan, develop, and coordinate communications and training activities.

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered -Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution -Unemployment Systems experience -State of Texas experience -Experience planning meetings and organize project logistics -Experience monitoring daily progress of projects -Proven ability to generate and deliver useful project reports -Experience coordinating assigned special projects and update project information -Experience with projects utilizing Mainframe and Java languages. -Experience providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office -Experience leading team of developers, system analysts, business analysts in daily project execution -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification -Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for efficiency. -BS/MS degree with 4–7 years of experience in project management in relevant areas of project assignment, research, and/or planning -Experience with Training and Communications -Experience of providing technical assistance to Project Managers
