Tasks

-Conduct Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification activities -Use Safety Management Software (MYOSH or similar) -Provide support to our Regional Management team regarding Work Health and Safety matters -Manage, review, and seek the continual improvement of the WHS Management System in alignment to legislative requirements and industry best practices -Liaise with insurers and medical providers regarding Workers Compensation and Return to Work Plans -Acting as the first point of contact for WHS queries and advice -Lead/Facilitate Incident Investigations

What You Bring

-Have 5+ years of experience in WHS within the resources industry -Can work autonomously within a team -Communicate with influence (written/verbal) clearly and concisely at all levels -Able to prepare report(s) on monthly, and as required basis -Pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen -Must have experience in Work Health and Safety for Haulage, Crushing, Mining or Civil industries. -Certificate IV or Diploma OHS/WHS -Ability to travel upon request for site related WHS matters -Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework for WHS (state and national) -Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable) -Perth Based 5/2 Roster (50 hrs per week) -Comfortable having conversations that reiterate the required WHS behaviours -Have experience in Injury Management processes -Current Australian Driver's Licence -ICAM Investigation Trained -Only Australia based candidates will be considered -Be experienced in system and program implementation, including behavioural safety -Able to develop and maintain internal and external relationships -Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
