Overview

Senior HVAC tech performs installation, maintenance, repair of commercial HVAC systems.

Tasks

-Perform installation, service, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, air handlers, VAV systems, and control systems. -Participate in on-call rotation as needed for emergency service coverage. -Communicate effectively with customers and branch management regarding service updates, repairs, and recommendations. -Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. -Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC systems. -Lead or mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and on-the-job training. -Document all work performed using ABM’s digital service tools and maintain accurate records. -Conduct routine maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with ABM and client standards.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and controls. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. -Minimum 7+ years of commercial HVAC experience, including installation, maintenance, and diagnostics. -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -EPA Universal Certification required. -Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
