The Role

Overview

Load/unload chemicals, handle drums, operate equipment, ensure safety on shifts.

Tasks

-Check materials, and check inventory -Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all applicable Codes -Housekeeping to maintain a safe work area -Dump, cut and crush drums -Ensure appropriate data entry is completed -Connect hoses or pipes and operate equipment to load and unload liquid chemical or other products into storage tanks -Maintain good working relationship with coworkers and customers -Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment -Respond to emergencies and help with the spills clean-up

What You Bring

-Ability to handle heavy drums, hoses, etc. -Must be able to work day shifts and/or afternoon shifts Monday-Friday. The day shift is 6AM-2:30PM and the Afternoon Shift is 2:30 PM-11PM (on Fridays the afternoon shift will be 12:30 PM - 9 PM) -Multitasking and working under pressure -Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment -Knowledge of Forklift would be an asset -Must be clean shaven
