The Role

Overview

Part-time HSE consultant developing safety procedures, ISO compliance, training, audits.

Tasks

-Work closely with senior managers and provide advice where necessary; -Developing and administering procedures to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislative requirements and corporate Environmental and Health & Safety policy; -Maintaining close liaison with facilities, technical and administrative staff to ensure implementation of regulations pertaining to Health and Safety -Providing health and safety advice and support on site / client projects -Preparing health and safety documentation required for site projects (PSDP/PSCS duties) -Investigation and formal recording and reporting of accidents or incidents onsite or on client sites -Ensuring contractor safety management arrangements are established and implemented -Co-ordinate, developing and delivering training to staff in core H&E subjects -Assist in the maintenance and development of ISO45001, ISO14001 & ISO9001 as part of the Integrated Management system -Management and development of site Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan -Maintaining systems of auditing in accordance with current Environmental & Health and Safety legislation and Corporate procedures -Maintain and administer HSEQ software systems around document control, auditing, incident reporting etc; -Conducting and reviewing risk assessments

What You Bring

-Experience working with management systems i.e. ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 -Proven ability to work on own initiative, with problem solving skills and be innovative -Full Clean Driving Licence and access to own vehicle -Membership of IOSH (or working towards) or equivalent -Proficiency in Microsoft IT applications -Minimum level 7 degree or higher diploma in H&S -Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer service driven environment
