The Role

Overview

Control and manage EPC project schedules for solar and BESS projects.

Tasks

-Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results. -Apply fundamental schedule control techniques and liaison its relationship to cost. -Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues. -Investigate causes of variances between planned and earned/actual progress and documents discoveries. -Identify, analyze, and document project schedule variances and conclude on possible impacts. -Support the development of plans and schedules for Sales and Development Opportunities. -Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds -Development and maintenance of EPC project schedules including integration of all subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholder schedule milestones. -Verify progress and review performance trends. -Develop and maintain procedures for scheduling process and reports across projects. -Actively participate in the development of project Work Breakdown Structure.

What You Bring

-Ability to travel, up to 20% of the time. -Education - Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering, or another related field engineering science -Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting) -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly. -Years of Experience: 3 -7 years in Project Controls -Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day -Travel: up to 20% as needed -Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position -Experience supporting the completion of large-scale projects, particularly construction and/or solar PV projects. -Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite) -Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Scheduling Software Tools such as Primavera P6 & MS Project.
