Tasks

-Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development goals and opportunities for the assigned employees. -Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides strategy-type recommendations on critical matters to support decision making. -Manages a team of Project Control specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones. Assesses the impact of design and construction changes and schedule slippages. -Recommends and oversees the implementation and customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements. -Coordinates staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel. -Leads the establishment of the program master coding architecture, integrating all functional requirements, and the development of a robust, scalable reporting system across the program. -Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems. -Guides the development and implementation of project controls procedures to support the implementation of best practices, primarily for schedule, cost, earned value, risk and change management processes.

What You Bring

-Ability to manage and encourage a team of construction management professionals. -Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. -Proficient PC skills including proficiency in Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite. -Requires engineering knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, or a related field. -Proven strong stakeholder management skills to c-suite level. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field -PMO/PMC experience is required. -Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. -Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others. -Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems. -25+ years of overall related experience, including 10+ years in a similar managerial role. -Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. -Strong business acumen and the ability to make well-informed decisions based on data and analysis. -Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal / external correspondence; ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders.
