Tasks

-Conduct project reconciliation and administration close-out functions, ensuring thorough financial documentation and compliance. -Develop project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying variances to support project management in making informed decisions. -Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations, as required. -Prepare detailed project financial reports and analyses, maintain clear, proactive communication with all stakeholders. -Process pay applications and contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance and accounting standards. -Identify, analyze, and communicate cost variances to project controllers, providing insights for potential corrective actions.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of job costing, construction draws, and budget management. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA Preferred. -Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. -Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail. -5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in real estate development or construction accounting. -Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. -Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, PMWeb, Procore or similar).
