Tasks
We are seeking an experienced OEM Automation Lead to take ownership of the Syringe Filling equipment automation scope for a major Drug Product Facility project in Dublin. This is a client-side role, acting as the technical authority for the automation of syringe filling systems, including integration with site-wide PCS and MES platforms. -Define and communicate client automation requirements to vendors and stakeholders. -Understand the operational functionality of the filling equipment and ensure all required features are implemented. -Coordinate with process owners, OEM teams, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. -Support commissioning, qualification, and start-up of the facility. -Collaborate closely with the OEM supplier, system integrators, and internal teams to define and enforce automation standards and deliverables. -Review and approve design documentation, including Functional Specifications (FS), Design Specifications (DS), and system drawings. -Deliver key project documentation and manage the handover to operations. -Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OEM automation on behalf of the client. -Act as the technical lead for the automation of syringe filling equipment. -Oversee and ensure high-quality configuration and coding standards. -Ensure seamless integration of filling equipment with PCS and MES systems. -Collaborate with CSV and QA teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and validation requirements. -Plan, attend, and supervise FAT and SAT activities. -Ensure automation systems meet business and operational requirements. -Manage change control processes and maintain high documentation standards throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring
-Experience with Aveva InTouch. -Hands-on experience with OEM filling machines or similar equipment (e.g., Optima, SKAN isolators). -Strong understanding of networking and thin client technologies. -FactoryTalk View -Proven experience in pharmaceutical fill-finish environments. -Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills. -Experience on large-scale capital projects with referenceable success. -Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. -5+ years’ experience with Rockwell Automation platforms including: -Expertise in machine safety directives and safety PLC systems.
