-Skill in operating plotters, printers, copiers and scanners -Operates equipment, such as plotters, printers, copiers and scanners.- Gathers engineering information by traveling independently to various locations (substations, power plants, water systems, etc.) as necessary. his general overview only includes essential functions of the job and does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Minimum Qualifications:Five or more years of experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis or drafting using computer-aided design software. A degree in computer-aided design or relevant field may be substituted per *** guidelines for certain years of experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -Work involves standing and/or walking in performing field duties less than 20% of the time -Work involves climbing, crawling, crouching or other non-sitting positions in performing field duties less than 20% of the time -Skill in the use of test equipment and/or other specialized tools· Skill in analyzing and solving problems· Skill in verbal and written communication -Knowledge of computer-aided drafting principles, standards and techniques -Knowledge of engineering principles -Knowledge of work management systems· Basic skill in computer-aided drafting -Work involves frequent finger/hand manipulation in using a keyboard and mouse -Ability to perform accurate data entry -Basic skill level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) -Knowledge of electronic document management systems (EDMS) -Ability to work in a team environmentWork Environment: -Skill in reading and interpreting technical information -Basic skill in reading and interpreting diagrams and prints -Work involves exposure to various and sometimes extreme weather conditions Physical Demands:
