Hydrovac Truck Operator

Overview

Operate and maintain hydrovac trucks for underground utility work.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Must perform pre and post-trip inspection on the vehicle and turn in any issues to the shop for repair. -Perform site clean-up. -Operation of equipment in both standard and high-risk areas, such as live utilities.

What You Bring

-Ability to work long hours. -Clean driving record. -Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours. -Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude. -General knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with the equipment. -2-3 years of experience operating vacuum trucks (or similar equipment). -Previous hydro-vac, trucking, vacuum truck, or other related industry experience preferred -High school diploma or equivalent. -Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions. -Valid Class A CDL. -Familiarity with Blue Stakes and the identification of marked utilities.
