Develop ArcPy scripts and geospatial workflows for urban planning data.

Tasks

-Support implementation work to launch the new data products and associated workflows -Schedule and run ArcGIS notebooks and other geoprocessing scripts -Co-development as part of a scrum team -Develop arcpy scripts that will run as GP services to automatically update data -Build new workflows on Esri Workflow Manager and customise the UI using Esri Experience Builder -Consult with planners and design user experience to satisfy their requirements -Participate and contribute to scrum meetings -Engage with stakeholders and propose solutions at review sessions to get stakeholders' buy-in

What You Bring

-Interns who are able to commit 5-6 months minimally between Jan - Aug 2025. Full-time internship preferred. -Front-end development: React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Esri Maps SDK for Javascript, Web API development -ArcGIS functions/modules: Tasks and Toolkits, Workflow Manager, Tasks and Toolkits, Data Reviewer, Rules management, Parcel Fabric -ArcGIS Geoprocessing functions (Intersect, Union, Spatial join and etc.) -Familiarisation with Esri tech stack and enterprise solutions -GIS technology: ArcGIS Server, GeoServer, PostGIS, Feature Service, GP service, Notebook, Workflow Manager, Experience Builder -Programming skills: Python, ArcPy, Pandas, Geopandas and other ETL libraries -Effective presentation, communication, and writing skills -Students pursuing Computer Science / Information Technology / Urban Science / GIS / Geography / related fields. -Other software: Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Figma, Canva, FME, Jenkins, Microsoft Azure, AWS
