Operate GRP hot press, produce panels, ensure quality and safety in 12‑hr shifts

Tasks

-Move materials using appropriate equipment such as pump trucks and powered pallet trucks. -Quality Focus: Ensure a high level of quality and productivity is maintained throughout. -Trim components to remove excess materials. -Cut and load wet GRP SMC material into the hot press. -Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company policies and procedures. -Support stores, picking, packing, and despatch operations when required. -Bonding and insulating GRP panels. -Manage the GRP (Glass Reinforced Polymer) Hot Press Operation, ensuring a minimum daily target of 90 units per shift (subject to demand). -Unload finished dry GRP panels. -Collaborate with the team to meet tight production deadlines and targets. -Ongoing Training and Development: Grow and enhance your skills with continuous support. -Accurately label and mark finished panels, ensuring correct documentation and palletization. -Maintain high housekeeping standards. -Safely operate the automated hot press for GRP panel pressing. -Conduct a 100% visual inspection to maintain exceptional quality standards. -Complete production records and paperwork in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP). -Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety regulations. -Conduct pre-start checks and perform dimensional checks and visual inspections of the first items produced. -Drilling panels according to manufacturing specifications.
