Tasks

You will oversee the end-to-end international procurement lifecycle from research and supplier qualification to shipment and delivery ensuring seamless supply chain operations that support large-scale construction and MEP projects. This role demands strong research capability, commercial acumen, and hands-on procurement expertise, with the ability to drive 20–30% cost savings in key categories while ensuring compliance with international trade standards. -Maintain and expand a global supplier database categorized by material type, capacity, and performance KPIs. -Identify and build long-term supplier relationships internationally, ensuring consistent quality and reliability. -Represent the company at international trade shows and sourcing events. -Ensure compliance with international trade laws, import/export regulations, and company policies. -Monitor global industry trends, pricing shifts, and supply chain risks. -Oversee the full lifecycle of overseas procurement, from sourcing and supplier onboarding to shipment and delivery. -Deliver market intelligence and benchmarking insights to strengthen negotiations and unlock savings opportunities. -Lead research and evaluation of global sourcing opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce costs. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement research methodologies.

If you are a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of global supply markets and a track record in delivering sustainable procurement solutions, this is your opportunity to play a key role in powering Dubai’s most ambitious developments. -Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. -Ability to interpret technical specifications and align sourcing with project needs. -Proven track record in cost savings and supplier performance improvement. -10+ years’ experience in international procurement research, sourcing, or supplier development preferably in construction, civil, or MEP categories. -Willingness to travel internationally for vendor assessments and trade events. -Bachelor’s/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s/CIPS/CPSM preferred). -Adaptability, initiative, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. -Strong understanding of global supply markets, vendor due diligence, and international procurement practices. -Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.). -In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier management.
