Tasks

Provide quality support across manufacturing and drive best practice in day to day activity Carry out product and process investigations to resolve non conformance issues Lead root cause and corrective action activity with operations and engineering teams Produce and review aerospace quality documentation including FAIRs, PPAP, AS9102 and customer packs Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements Work collaboratively with customers and suppliers to close out quality actions

What You Bring

Skilled at producing FAIRs and managing general quality packs for OEM and tier one customers Strong background in aerospace quality engineering in a manufacturing environment Please note that full and permanent right to work in the UK is a non-negotiable requirement for this role. This employer is unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Background focused only on inspection rather than broader quality engineering No experience in a contract, interim or short term roles Able to take ownership of tasks with a practical and steady problem solving style Uncomfortable working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities with minimal guidance Preference for roles with heavy project management or design responsibility rather than compliance and documentation This contract suits someone who is confident working across multiple quality workstreams. You will handle technical documentation, support audits, strengthen compliance activity, and work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards across the site. Comfortable working across compliance, auditing, problem solving, and documentation Confident handling AS9100 requirements and associated documentation Lack of experience with aerospace documentation such as FAIRs or AS9102 Limited experience within aerospace or other regulated precision manufacturing Good communicator able to work closely with production, engineering, and customer teams
