Overview
Lead and manage industrial site investigation and remediation projects, plus business development.

Tasks
-Preparing and/or implementing remediation designs and strategies for soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation projects; -Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and -Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -At times, this job may also include fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction. -Business development; including bringing in new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and developing and implementing a business development plan; -Reviewing and managing written document production; -Work plan development, data evaluation, and technical report writing on a variety of contaminated site assessment, remediation, and operations and maintenance projects; -Field work and overnight travel may be required. -Project and task management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; -Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors;

What You Bring
-Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required) -Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Excellent writing and communication skills. (required) -Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) -Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, or a related field of study. (required) -Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) -Detailed understanding NJDEP and USEPA regulations. (required) -Demonstrated success in business development, management of clients, and leadership. (required) -Professional registration (i.e., P.E.) (required) -Advanced degree in a related field of study. (desirable but not essential) -Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. -Strong experience managing contaminated site investigation & remediation projects, with a particular emphasis on the private sector e.g. oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, etc. (required) -At least 10 years (15+ desirable) of direct environmental consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
