Operate various heavy equipment, follow safety protocols, maintain tools, and support project tasks.

Tasks

-Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels -Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction -Follow prescribed safety regulations -Perform routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning -Operate the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: 1. Blade 2. Dozer 3. Loader 4. Scraper 5. Forklift/Telehandler 6. Crane 7. Bobcat/Skid-steer 8. Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts 9. Roller 10. Backhoe 11. Track Crane -Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area -Follow work plans and pre-task cards

What You Bring

-Knowledge of equipment and their uses -Strong teamwork orientation -Minimum one year of related experience -Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) -Ability to work independently -Positive attitude and professional customer service skills -Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts -Equipment certifications as required -Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment -Current driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
