Tasks

-Discover and resolve interface conflicts between the company and trade partners, as well as among trade partners. -Run weekly owner/architect/contractor meetings and maintain meeting minutes. -Facilitate the quality control plan and participate in preparatory meetings, initial inspections, follow-up inspections, etc. -Assist with engineering details and special design. -Develop/manage the cost control and labor recap in conjunction with the project manager and project superintendent. -Participate in jobsite safety meetings, weekly safety audits, etc. -Track and report on the progress of the project. -Assist the project manager and superintendents as follows: -Accumulate all necessary data and prepare the monthly owner pay applications. -Assist in monthly margin analysis. -Update and maintain the project record utilizing the Book of 14. -The individual in this position will periodically walk, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, stoop, read/see, speak, push, pull, lift, stand, and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and office activity. -Assist with production analysis studies. -Manage the timely acquisition of materials and equipment and field-initiated purchasing. -Assist in interpretation of the BIM and VDC specifications. -Manage, train and mentor the office engineers and the jobsite administrator. -Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, phone, computer, and computer printer. -Assist in development and management of the project schedule. -Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read blueprints and take/verify field measurements. -Stooping – Bending the body downward and forward by the spine at the waist. -Constantly computes, analyzes, and conceptualizes mathematical calculations and formulas. -Assist the company's field supervisors on interpretation of drawings, specifications, RFIs and questions for and from the architect/engineer. -Climbing – Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps at various heights. -Process and estimate all potential change orders and requests for information.

What You Bring

-A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management. -Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects -Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate. -Verification of Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility -Background Checks for Badging/Security Clearances (if applicable) -Walking - The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, boxes, cabinets, etc. -Balancing – Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and to walk, stand or crouch. -Strong communication skills. -Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite. -Frequently exposed to noisy environments and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. -Physical Exam (if applicable) -Past internships in the construction industry. -Valid Driver’s License.
