Tasks

-Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. -Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock. -Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. -Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods. -Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. -Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment. -Support the Purchasing Manager in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers. -Communicate with suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, and availability. -Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, returns, and damaged goods.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). -Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or a related role. -High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Business or related field preferred. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Ability to work in various environmental conditions. -Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. -Attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
