Tasks
-Firstly, we expect you to be able to explain a complex information to a variety of audiences. This is important as you will be providing best practice and legislation advice on home ownership matters as well as providing supporting documentation for formal challenges and collaborating across teams to cover for colleagues as required.

What You Bring
-You will deal with a variety of processes ranging from re-mortgaging and leaseholder permissions to Right to Buy, Section 20 consultations, responding to observations and producing final accounts. Knowledge of relevant legislation would be beneficial - Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Right to Buy under the Housing Act 1980 (Amended 1985), Housing (Right to Acquire) Regulations 1997 and the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban DevelopmentAct of 1993. Last but not least, you are expected to have proficiency in using wide range of IT systems and MS Office package as you will be ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and effectively. -You will need a keen eye for a detail, ability to interpret leases and a working knowledge and understanding of legal processes –this might include lease extensions, solicitor enquiries during conveyancing and varying leases.
