Tasks

-Assist with design development and reviews for ongoing projects. -Collaborate with the project team to prepare conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents for a variety of projects. -Assist in integrating multi-disciplinary input into the design process, including working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, stormwater management, geotechnical engineering, and environmental/ecology. -Contribute to the creation of written materials, such as proposals, design briefs, meeting reports, and other non-drafting tasks related to the architectural design process. -Provide assistance with contract administration services and/or construction inspection as needed. -Support the preparation of presentation materials and renderings for client and public consultations. -Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities to continue building architectural knowledge and skills.

What You Bring

-A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction. -A strong desire to learn and grow within the architectural field. -Experience with architectural design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred). -LEED and/or Passive House accreditation is a plus but not required. -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Certified Technologist -Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. -5 to 8 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and design.
