Overview

Operate and maintain plant equipment, perform manual tasks, and support plant operations.

Tasks

-Under direct supervision, adjusts equipment to maximize production. -Greases and lubricates plant equipment and maintains plant housekeeping. -Maintains safe traffic flow throughout the site and good housekeeping in areas of responsibility. -Participates in plant operations, including production, loading, and shipping. -Operates production and plant-specific mobile equipment (e.g., skid steer, water truck, front-end loader) safely and efficiently within company guidelines and safety standards. -Uses hand tools and equipment to clean around plant machinery and maintain roadways and parking areas. -Performs cutting and welding under supervision of the plant manager or designated personnel. -Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues. -Aides in the training of co-workers as needed. -Performs preventative and routine maintenance on mobile equipment, conveyor belts, and unload equipment, including splicing, replacing idlers, pulleys, drive belts, bearings, cleaning, and lubrication. -Maintains strong communication with team members to ensure efficient and safe workflow. -Conducts daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintains maintenance logs.
