Overview
Inspect civil construction work to ensure compliance with codes, specs, and QA/QC plans.

Tasks
-Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. -Ensure that all inspection and testing records are properly documented and archived. -Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring quality issues and suggesting practical solutions. -Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, consultants, and quality managers to address any quality-related issues. -Drive a company vehicle in a safe manner -Work in high grounds and high open buildings -Attend quality and coordination meetings as needed. -Conduct QA/QC inspections for all civil construction activities, including but not limited to earthwork, foundation, concrete placement, utilities, roadways, and structural components. -Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved inspection and test plans (ITPs). -Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action documentation. -Stand, walk and balance in irregular and uneven terrain and pavements, concrete, grass, dirt and gravel. -Work outside for extended periods in the heat and cold -Verify materials and workmanship meet the project's approved submittals and standards. -Walk, stoop, bend, and climb up and down stairs and ladders

What You Bring
-Familiarity with construction materials and laboratory/field testing procedures. -ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems knowledge -Willing to travel to support projects when needed -Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed by the department needs. -NICET Certification in Civil/Construction Inspection -ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I -In-depth knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, etc.). -Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs. -Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in civil construction QA/QC, preferably in infrastructure or large-scale projects. -Ability to read and write in English -Experience reviewing and implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCPs). -Ability to wear appropriate PPE for hazardous materials -QMS/QA-related training or certifications -Strong organizational and communication skills. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QA/QC reporting tools. -High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. -OSHA 10 or 30 Certification -Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites.
