Tasks

You will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. -Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc. -Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims -Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters -Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the firm's clients in KS

What You Bring

This is a fully remote role outside of court appearances. You must live in Kansas and MUST BE admitted to practice law in Kansas. -Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law -Must be currently admitted to practice law in KS (multi-state admission would be amazing) -Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
