Tasks

Organize meetings and discussions with key officials of regulatory and executive agencies in focus states to seek clarity and identify the way forward for business expansion. Educate managers and department heads on regulations and policies that require compliance. Keeping Management updated with regulatory / policy development in the RE sector in India like GNA, Open Access, Tariff Orders & associated regulations. Assess regulatory risks and provide strategic recommendations. Attend regulatory proceedings at SERC / CERC / APTEL / MOP / MNRE / CEA / CTU, etc., as required. Create and manage a compendium of various tariff orders, RE-specific orders, and state energy policies at the pan-India level, with a focus on states relevant to the business. Provide advisory insights on regulatory attractiveness. Assist the Business Development team and provide documentation support related to key regulatory matters. Address regulatory requirements for the Commercial & Industrial segment. Maintain relationships with industry associations and stakeholders. Participate in policy advocacy to promote a favorable regulatory environment for renewable energy. Make representations/petitions/presentations before SERC / CERC / State Nodal Agencies on matters related to RE projects.

What You Bring

10 years of experience, preferably in the Power Sector Regulatory domain. Regulatory - Lead must possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of power sector policies, regulations, and directives issued by key regulatory bodies such as CERC, SERCs, CEA, MOP, MNRE, and CTU. This role is pivotal in engaging with regulatory authorities, monitoring policy and regulatory developments, and ensuring organizational compliance with national and state-level energy regulations. The position supports the organization's sustainable growth by proactively addressing regulatory challenges and identifying opportunities within the evolving energy landscape. Our team of over 300 Enfiniters comprises seasoned finance professionals, as well as experienced project developers and operators with extensive industry experience across all stages of the project life cycle.
