The company is seeking a Quality Director to lead all aspects of quality management, from compliance frameworks to company-wide initiatives. This role will set and maintain the standards that ensure the success of high-stakes aerospace and defense programs, including oversight of AS9100 certification and continuous improvement across engineering and production.

• Lead Quality Assurance across U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Direct quality control inspections across incoming, in-process, and final stages.
• Oversee audits, corrective actions, and supplier/vendor quality initiatives.
• Define and track quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage a small QA/QC team.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; quality certifications (AS9100 auditor, CQE, CQM, CRE) preferred.
• Experience with IPC-610 electronic assembly standards, software QA practices, Six Sigma, and reliability engineering.
• 10+ years of quality leadership in aerospace, defense, and space hardware programs, including tier 1 space programs.
• Proven ability to lead small teams and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
• Hands-on expertise with AS9100 certification processes and sustaining compliance.
• ITAR: Must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as: any individual who is granted U.S. citizenship; or any individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence ("Green Card" holder); or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person" under 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3).
