Tasks

-Review and control of work planning process by project team -Review project estimate or plan to determine estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project -Be responsible for ensuring the project meets or exceeds its financial objectives, by overseeing and monitoring each stage of the development -Form and lead an effective project management team, define and delegate management responsibilities, and set goals -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delays of production. -Maintain healthy safety culture and compliance with company safety policy -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise -Ensure project superintendents understand and execute the work as required -Ensure safety, quality, and production are maintained -Coordinates daily/weekly meetings with all the area superintendents and project engineers to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead delivery times -Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections. Also, review, approve, and negotiate change orders -Manage all field operations and work sequences in conjunction with the Project Executive -Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, works closely with Project Executive and HR team to manage the relationship with staff and craft -Be an effective leader, communicate with department leads regarding work scopes

What You Bring

-Organizational and time-management skills. -Must have ability to manage and inspire others. -Regular, reliable attendance -Experience with cranes is preferred. -Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance. -General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Exel). -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -10+ years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. -High School Diploma/GED required. -Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely
