Accurately cut and ship wire orders using equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Tasks

-Use hands to finger, handle, or feel: Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51% -Retrieve and cut wire efficiently and accurately for requested customer shipments Examines wire for conformance to specifications and removes defective pieces -Report any damage to electronic hardware, work machines, or pipe racks immediately to a supervisor -Place reel of specified wire onto payout spindle of machine and threads wire through feed rolls. Adjusts machine controls to regulate factors such as wire thickness, pressure, heat, and cutting and stripping length -Perform daily machine checks and operates any material handling equipment and powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity -Fill all orders efficiently and accurately. Ensures outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage -Stack/store merchandise in the appropriate area and stages wire cuts in the appropriate shipping area -Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Follows established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns -Maintain a minimum standard in wire cuts in compliance with current company policies in both accuracy and productivity

-Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements -Exposed to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and/or exposure to heat and cold - Constantly – at least 51% -Knowledge of Radio Frequency scanning devices preferred -Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Must be at least 21 years of age -Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Constantly – at least 51% -Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record -Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks -Must have a valid driver's license -Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Constantly – at least 51% -Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years -Climb or balance: Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Occasionally – up to 20% -Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers -Handles or works with potentially dangerous equipment - Frequently – 21% to 50% -Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years -Ability to meet deadlines -Up to 25 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% -Travels to offsite locations - Occasionally – up to 20% -Up to 50 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% -Ability to handle basic issues and problems -Ability to work overtime as needed -Basic computer knowledge -Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire -Up to 10 pounds - Constantly – at least 51% -Excellent organizational and time management skills -Must be willing to be trained on all the following material handling equipment: forklift, stand-up reach truck, High-Reach Narrow-Aisle, Stand-Up Rider pallet Jack that conform to OSHA safety training requirements
