Design and manage civil works for substations, overhead lines and cabling projects.

To listen to each other and share knowledge enabling us to willingly combine expertise across the business and with our clients and supply chain. -Assist in the management of the tender process, understand and interpret scope of works, provide advice and opinion -Analysis of existing foundations -Undertake check function for design calculations performed by other engineering colleagues.

What You Bring
-Strong, proven post-graduate experience in the civil engineering industry -Experience of substation structural components -Experience of drainage design and water management -Experience of the supervision of sub-consultants or subcontractors -Chartered Engineer preferred with either the ICE, CGeol or IStructE -Proven experience of the design of civil engineering works -Reinforced Concrete design and detailing compliant to required Client & national technical standards (BS/Eurocodes/ENA) -Degree level education or equivalent with formal training in civil engineering and/or geotechnical engineering. -IT Literate (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CAD) -Strong, proven experience of the management of design of civil or geotechnical engineering works -Experience in the design and checking of temporary works for civil engineering projects
