Tasks

We’re looking for a Site Engineer in Chennai who can manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate technical execution, and ensure design intent is realized across architecture + interior projects in a dynamic, design-driven firm. -Interpret design drawings & specifications, issue site instructions, manage site changes and ensure they reflect design intent. -Supervise site execution of architecture and interior projects: monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and maintaining adherence to drawings and specifications. -Coordinate with architects/designers, structural/MEP consultants, contractors and vendors to resolve technical and coordination issues on site. -Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, material quality and workmanship. -Conduct regular site inspections, report deviations and recommend corrective actions in consultation with the project team. -Assist in material/shop drawing review, site measurement verification, and vendor/subcontractor coordination. -Maintain site documentation: daily logs, progress reports, site measurement sheets, and hand-over checklists.

What You Bring

Are you passionate about on-site delivery and have experience overseeing both architectural and interior projects? -Familiarity with site safety protocols, vendor/subcontractor management and quality control procedures -Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior layouts, shop drawings and construction documentation. -Excellent organizational skills, proactive problem-solver and hands-on site presence. -Bachelor’s/ Diploma in Architecture/ Interior/ Civil preferred -3-6 years of experience in site engineering or site supervision roles, with exposure to both architectural and interior projects. -Strong technical understanding of construction processes, detailing, MEP/structural coordination and interior works. -Effective communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and on-site contractors.
