Overview
Conduct assay development & molecular testing for oncology/genetics in lab.

Tasks
-Under close supervision, conducts lab experiments following safety guidelines. -Executes activities within the assigned timeframe. -Accountable and responsible for creating and maintaining a culture of respectful and professional interactions among the entire team. -May provide experiment details and conclusions for design history files. -Not responsible for direct management or matrix management of staff. -Appropriately documents experimental details in eLN and follows guidance documents for ensuring data integrity -Communicates results to supervisor in a timely manner. -May present findings at group meetings. -May participate in active collaboration within Development. -May troubleshoot issues related to experiments. -Follows protocols for data analysis with supervision. -Participates in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO, and QSR implementation. -May track laboratory inventory (e.g., equipment, supplies, specimens, raw materials, reagents). -Accountable for own career development and engagement.

People Management (Line and Matrix) Technical Understanding Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered -Aware of project timelines and actively contributes towards the completion of project goals. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across functional areas -Works from and understands protocols provided. -Uses basic technical writing skills to write lab reports in eLN and DHFs (e.g., protocols and reports). -Demonstrates cultural beliefs and a growth mindset. -Strong proficiency in data analysis using statistical tools (e.g., JMP) -Ability to receive and provide feedback. -Good organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively -Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail -Capable of analyzing experimental data using basic skills and existing templates created for the purpose. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment. -Familiar with assay and platform. -Minimum years of experience: 1–5 years -Has basic understanding of molecular/microbiology and biochemical concepts (e.g., PCR, sterile technique, calculations). -Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field -Proficiency in PCR, qPCR, and digital PCR applications preferred -Expertise in DNA/RNA isolation
