Review BOQ and Architecture drawings of PLCC/FOTE engineering and need to interface between CRP & SAS with Telecom Equipment.
Design and prepare scheme drawings as per project requirement in anyone of E-CAD Tool (Ex. Engineering Base software/E-Plan/ AutoCAD Electrical/equivalent) for up to 400/765kV Substations.
Design/review the Substation automation system based on IEC61850-8-1(Station Bus) & IEC 61850-9-2(Process Bus) – Database Preparation in the automation/RTU software
Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
Review / consolidate the IO Mapping with respect to the scheme drawings/troubleshoot of database issues in SAS system / RTU based system.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives.
Perform/review the protection relay application / setting calculations and coordination including tripping analysis.
Review equipment drawings of major Substation Equipment for AIS / GIS like Circuit breakers, Isolators, Earth switches, CSD, PDM, Transformers/Reactors & associated Conditional Monitoring Devices etc.,
Proactively serves on cross functional leadership teams; self-directed decision-making; Pulls in experts when needed.
Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business.
Perform CT and VT and its sizing calculations.
Perform the study on Electrical Power systems and load flow and short circuit studies etc.,
Design / Review the control/Power cable engineering in substations.
Design the LV/LT auxiliary systems for Electrical Substations and interface with the SAS/SCADA.
Provide technical leadership and interface with GSI Regions/GE Vernova Business Lines to estimate the optimized manhour cost for the engineering activities / other required activities for the execution of the project / Tender.
Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.

Experience of Secondary (CRP/SAS, Aux Systems, Telecom, Interface) engineering up to 765kV/400kV/220KV and HVDC Substations (AIS/GIS/SOLAR/WIND).
5+ years of experience in substation protection relay systems within EHV Electrical Substations, Oil & Gas or Power Transmission industries.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities to guide and mentor junior engineers.
Fluent in English; additional language (any foreign Language) is a plus.
Bachelor’s (or) master’s degree in electrical engineering.
