Tasks

-Review and understand project data and develop methods to execute the timely and productive. -Assist in the purchasing of materials, services and subcontracts. -Identify areas of importance or change orders and relay related information to project manager and project foreman. -Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, and selecting vendors and subcontractors. -Attend project meetings as required by project. -Review data to determine material and labor requirements; prepare itemized lists. -Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation.

What You Bring

-Able to work in atmospheric conditions such as extreme cold, heat, humidity, and various weather conditions. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction-specific software programs. -Valid driver's license required to travel to job sites or out-of-office meetings. -Must be able to navigate construction sites consisting of uneven terrain, climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights. -Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain as needed for pre-bid or construction site meetings and reviews. -Must be able lift objects up to 50 pounds. -Ability to review contract documents to understand project requirements and obligations. -High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. -The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. -Five years of electrical estimating experience required.
