Contribute to expanding ERM’s Safety Services business. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.
Build client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to Build a network within and outside of ERM that will enable you to leverage your skills and solve challenging multi-disciplinary client challenges.
Perform incident investigations, development of corrective actions, verification/validation of controls, and learning from incidents. Support root cause analyses in conjunction with client leadership.
Support development and implementation of Safety Management Systems and risk assessments to ensure effective risk control and regulatory compliance.
Assist in the development of solutions to complex technical and regulatory issues and concerns.
Develop and manage innovative, behavior and performance outcome-focused approaches and programs for a variety of clients with complex technical/regulatory issues. Design and direct corporate H&S strategies and programs in areas such as industrial hygiene, behavior-based safety, safety culture and leadership, serious injury and fatality risk reduction, compliance auditing, EHS management systems, process safety and risk management, construction safety, high-impact training, and general compliance support. Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Support life safety programs such as control of hazardous energy, fall protection, electrical safety, machinery safety, powered industrial vehicle, materials lifting, hot work, and fire safety.
Support client industrial hygiene programs, including leading the qualitative and quantitative assessment of exposure risk.

Experience in life safety programs is required.
BS/MS degree preferred. Equivalency of an additional 6+ years related experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Willingness to travel, both within the United States and to international locations in support of client programs. Up to 80% travel may be required depending on client program needs. Periods of travel may vary based on client, season, or project need. Must have a valid passport.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with guidance and direction. Ability to be adaptable, deal with ambiguity, and flexible to changing situations, able to think outside the box, and to identify and respond rapidly to safety issues in field locations.
2-4 years (5-10+ years preferred) relevant experience in working with organizations on safety and risk management, leadership/culture, and/or sustainable EHS compliance programs. Be passionate about EHS performance improvement and have substantial experience developing and delivering world-class EHS program solutions.

Experience with industrial hygiene is required.
Certification in field; CSP, CHMM, PE, or similar registration desirable. CIH highly desirable.
