Tasks

-Support the user communities and team members -Contribute to the digital engineering service initiative -Planning and Organizing -Manage IT user support tickets -Support identification of automation and process improvements -Managing projects -Coordinate with reporting manager, user functional communities, team members on task priorities and initiatives -Prepare flow diagram, use case, instructional, and test documentation and guides -Develop, maintain, and integrate coding throughout the software development lifecycle -Conduct meetings, user training sessions and test

-Critical Thinking -Fundamentals of programming and scripting -Working knowledge of Java and SQL -Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills -Verbal and Written Communication -Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills -Problem Solving -Proficient in Java, JSP, XML, HTML and SQL -Team player with the ability to collaborate and interact with other groups -Skills and ability to learn complex applications and processes -Knowledge in API creation -Flexible and adaptable to change -Skills and ability to follow technical instructions, perform installation of hardware and software -Working knowledge of web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and 3D CAD Applications -Other industry experience in developing and implementing applications within organizationally, logistically, and technically complex environments. -Hands-on experience with real projects -Demonstrated success in team project deliveries and the execution methods -Enrolled in post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Senior Students preferred. This internship is ideal for new graduates or soon-to-be graduates (within the past 12 months) -Skilled at developing and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors -Server OS (Linux and/or Windows) and network configurations
