Tasks

-Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety plans -Support OFSC audit process -Ensure health and safety are always front of mind of all personnel -Act as a point of contact for on-site health and safety queries -Daily pre-start, toolbox talk, site inductions and safety briefings -Assist with safety reporting and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement -Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and project-specific standards -Identify, monitoring and report any emerging risks to project team, whilst contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to raise and establish safety performance and culture -Provide health and safety advice, training, and support to construction personnel and subcontractors

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support a BESS Project in Gnarwarre, Victoria. -Proven knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and safety systems -Experience working in high-risk, high pressure and fast paced environments -SafeWork VIC “White Card” -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry -Tertiary qualifications in Safety or a related field -Ability to identify all potential and imminent hazards on a site and be able to address them positively and proactively ensuring effective control measures to mitigate risks and compliance -Attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
