Tasks

Covering a range of sites including Retail Sites, Offices, Student accommodation This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive Air Conditioning maintenance across a number of sites in the area. The purpose of this role is to carry out technical repairs, reactive works and PPM’s. You will ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down company Health and Safety policy. You will be responsible for 50+ sites. -Maintenance / repairs / replacements of AC units, testing and all general AC duties and including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site. You will predominately be working on AC, but this role would suit a multi-skilled engineer who is keen to assist on other disciplines. -To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date

What You Bring

Our client, a UK facilities management leader, are seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer. The role will work on commercial office blocks, Retail sites & Student Accommodation. A facilities management background would be preferred. Location: Covering sites throughout Yorkshire - Ideal candidate based in Leeds or Sheffield -Ideally a multi-skilled background. -The AC Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed. -Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems. -Strong Air Conditioning experience and HVAC plant maintenance experience. -Completing PPM’s to the highest standard -Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning/ AC & Refrigeration. -General DIY abilities- Occasional Non-technical plumbing, maintenance, joinery/ carpentry. -Knowledge and experience of all AC installations, including wiring, testing, issuing written AC testing/minor works reports etc. -F-Gas Essential. -Time served apprentice, ideally with a background in facilities management. -Prepared to be flexible with travel throughout Yorkshire -Knowledge and experience of all plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)

Benefits

On call: 1 week in every 10 | If called out, paid 1.5x Door to Door, 2x Saturday afternoon/Sunday Benefits: 33 days holiday, Pension, Company Vehicle with Fuel Card (Work use only) Additional Payments: Overtime + on call allowance. Plenty of overtime available. Salary: Base Salary £38,000.00 – £42,000.00 (Depending on Experience)
