Overview

Support aero‑derivative gas turbine shop, manage repairs, records and technical investigations.

Tasks

-Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes. -Supporting Development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities. -Dis-positioning activities, ensuring the latest shop practices have been followed, report outstanding recurrent findings (Leading indicators) to the repair engineering teams. -Supporting maintenance execution in the service shop including inspection and disposition of components. -Leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components. -Supporting risk-based evaluation and risk-based mitigation action definitions -Preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project being accountable of the applicable action items. -Supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time

What You Bring

-Have previous, relevant experience working on Aero/ Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines. -Have a bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering. Master's degree preferred -Have in-depth working experience working experience in a turbo machinery service shop. -Have previous experience developing and managing technical investigations.
