Tasks

-Lead project development, design and production throughout all phases of the project -Cultivate and manage new business relationships to support growth in Western NC -Development, delegation and quality and budget control of all architectural deliverables -Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project team across multiple offices -Represent Summit at industry events, conferences, and professional society meetings -Attend meetings with clients, consultants & contractors, and make regular project visits -Integrated Revit modeling and related project document development including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, code analyses and specifications -Ensure project quality and consistency for profitability and client retention -Facilitate client, consultant & contractor coordination and regulatory approval processes

What You Bring

-5-8 years of relevant professional experience -High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe CS and MS-office -Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required. -Displayed experience independently managing and producing architectural projects -Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution -Licensed Architect in North Carolina (required) -Displayed experience in design, detailing, building systems, codes and construction techniques -Displayed experience managing clients, consultants and project budgets -Displayed experience with architectural practice and project delivery -Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as well as within a virtual setting. -Strong creative, problem-solving and technical skills
