The Role
Overview
Coordinate project execution, documentation, and communication for construction projects.

Tasks
-Reviews subcontractor/supplier progress applications and payment certificates -Prepares and participates in meetings with the project team, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. -Prepares and distributes accurate and detailed meeting minutes promptly -Client service and customer focus to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers. -Assists with providing final document turnover to the client at the completion of the project -Maintains project awareness to keep the Project Manager and others informed about status and potential project issues. -Coordinate deficiencies promptly. -Assists with the preparation and execution of the overall work plan and schedule. -Organizes and maintains project site files and documents; manages electronic document database and/or file sharing site. -Liaises with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding contract and change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, etc. -Maintains up-to-date, accurate documents for the project, including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, etc. -Provide other technical office support as required by the project team.

What You Bring
-Experience working on commercial and/or institutional projects from start to finish. -Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project; experience with SharePoint is a plus. -Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in a construction-related discipline. -Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents. -Minimum 3 years of experience in a project support role, preferably with an ICI General Contractor or subcontractor. -Works effectively in a team environment. -Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and stay on top of things as the project demands increase. -Experience on collaborative contract model projects preferred but not required. -Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged.
