Overview

Design and support transit projects such as BRT, light rail, and commuter rail.

Tasks

-Manage project data files. -Assist with business development efforts. -Adhere to Horrocks policies to uphold a safe and efficient environment. -Attend company and project meetings as directed. -Prepare engineering related calculations, drawings, and exhibits. -Provide effective and accurate communication with clients, co-workers, stakeholders, contractors, and other team members. -Support project managers and engineers with design tasks and report preparation for various transit projects. -Collaborate with project team members to ensure delivery of high-quality products. -Perform independent research, including site visits, as directed and communicate findings to project teams.

What You Bring

-Ability to lead the preparation of design reports and construction drawings for transit projects. -P.E. license in Utah or ability to obtain Utah P.E. license through reciprocity. -Proficient with Microstation/Open Roads Designer. -Time management skills to prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines. -B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Effective communication skills with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely. -5-10 years of experience in Transportation design and engineering.
