The Role

Overview

Perform advanced construction materials testing and inspections on commercial sites.

Tasks

-Assist with training and mentoring of less experienced staff, with potential to lead a team of field staff on large projects. -Perform inspections and testing on large commercial and industrial construction sites. -Work with engineers and clients to ensure specifications are being followed. -Prepare daily inspection and test reports. -Review inspection and test data for accuracy and completeness. -Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles

What You Bring

-Ability to contribute and work well on a team. -Strong communication skills. -Valid driver’s license and a good driving history. -High attention to detail. -Various ICC Certifications, ACI Grade I, Various NICET Certifications, Nuclear Gauge certifications required OR a bachelors degree in engineering with EIT. -The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. -Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. -2-5 years’ experience in construction observation or special inspections. -Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred. -Excellent plan reading skills. -Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
