Tasks

-Prepares bids for distribution to market. Includes drawings, specifications, test reports, and other exhibits that may be required. -Establishes and maintains contact with subcontractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract awarding process. -Qualify subcontractors prior to award. -Conduct/lead project meetings. -Compiles data for preparing estimates. -Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts. -Advises scheduling of contractual rights and obligations. -Reviews pricing, bids and confirms accuracy of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and validity. -Act as liaison with accounting on subcontractor payments. -Act as liaison between company and subcontractors, clients and owners. -Reviews all correspondence concerning subcontractors and responds as necessary. -Negotiates contract scope and value with bidder. -Processes subcontractor change orders. -Reviews bids from subcontractors for conformity to contract requirements and recommends acceptable bids. -Recommends awards and administers subcontracts. -Play an active role with project scheduling.
