Tasks

-Contribute to product development, new design efforts, and post-delivery evaluations. -Develop and evaluate flight vehicle structural designs for performance, cost, manufacturability, and compliance. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, integration, and documentation. -Support programs on Boeing or Spirit AeroSystems commercial structures, with emphasis on primary structures.

What You Bring

-Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills. -Utilize CATIA and Boeing design processes; experience with ENOVIA preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; engineering degrees strongly preferred over drafter/technical designer backgrounds. -Experience with primary and secondary structures, payloads, lofting, and weight analysis. -Background Check & DOT Drug Screen: This step involves conducting a comprehensive background check, which includes reviewing criminal history, and other relevant records. Additionally, a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening will be carried out to ensure compliance with federal regulations for safety-sensitive positions -Recent experience (within the last 10 years) on Boeing or Spirit commercial aircraft structures. -Commercial OEM experience preferred (Boeing, Airbus, or Spirit AeroSystems). -Apply knowledge of metallic structural design.
