Tasks

We are seeking an ITS consultant to join our Assets Consulting team. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of IST-related projects working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Shape a future with purpose at Arup in Dublin and Cork. -Engage stakeholders (including clients) and manage communications. -Supporting the delivery of other projects in the areas of Mobility Pricing and Intelligent Mobility. -Deliver projects at various stages of development, including design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and operations/maintenance. -Contribute to Intelligent Mobility projects that deliver high quality pragmatic advice and solutions to Arup’s broad range of Clients and technical challenges. -Undertake focused research and produce summary findings. -Utilize technology to provide solutions to transportation consulting projects with a range of clients. -Participate in and support the wider development of the team. -Developing and enhancing relationships through project delivery. -Work effectively with data and contribute to design of innovative solutions for clients nationally and globally. -Support project leaders on completion of projects’ planning and delivery. -Test project objectives, assumptions, and proposed activities against stated goals.

What You Bring

-Technical experience or demonstrated interest in one of the following areas: Intelligent Transport Systems, electronic tolling, transportation, intelligent mobility, and Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. -Solid planning, analytical and organization skills -Minimum of 45 years’ experience in transport projects -Intelligent Transport Systems -Ability to work independently as well as in a large multidisciplinary team. -Level 8 or above qualifications in a relevant discipline, including but not limited to: Civil or Transport EngineeringTransport or town planning Intelligent Transport SystemsElectrical and Electronic EngineeringTelecommunicationsComputer Engineering or Computer ScienceMechatronic Engineering -Experience in one or more of planning, design, procurement or operations. -Prior experience working in a consultancy environment is desirable. -Systems integration knowledge and experience a positive. -You have excellent communication, analytical and problemsolving skills. -Computer Engineering or Computer Science -Communicate effectively in written and verbal presentation formats to both internal and external clients. -Strong numerical and IT skills
