What You Bring

-Must be at least 18 years old – it’s an insurance thing! -Knowledge of roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM and PVC. Knowledge of these systems is helpful but not required, WE WILL TRAIN YOU! -Equipment Experience - Are you certified to operate a jobsite forklift or manlift (MEWP)? We will show you some appreciation! -Physical effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders, frequent lifting, etc. -Experience - a background in construction is a plus and experience in commercial roofing is highly desirable. -Driver’s License – Is it valid and in good standing? We can never have enough licensed drivers with good driving records. Being able to drive adds to your value! -Safety – Tecta always values a safe worker who has experience and training. Do you already have your OSHA 10 Construction training? Did you work for another company who is known for their safety culture? That's a plus in our book! -Must be comfortable with heights and being on a roof – we go where the work is! -Past residential and/or commercial roofing or construction experience is a plus -Valid driver's license is a plus. -Reliable and Dependable - Show up to work and be a dependable employee, we will recognize you. -Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly. Repeated bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling – it’s a good workout!
