The Role
Overview
Support and maintain CAD/PLM software tools and assist users at Price Industries
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Work with software vendors and resellers to assist in managing support requests and updates. -Provide first-level technical assistance for CAD and PLM software issues and escalate complex problems when necessary. -Support the CAD Admin team in evaluating new software versions and identifying training needs for users. -Track software licenses and inventory, keeping records up to date. -Collect feedback on CAD/PLM workflows to help identify improvement opportunities and streamline processes. -Support automation initiatives by helping develop and test workflows, templates, and standard tools. -Assist with data management tasks, including ensuring drawing accuracy and maintaining correct revisions. -Support the CAD team in maintaining and troubleshooting CAD software tools, including Solid Edge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit. -Document basic procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent CAD/PLM use across departments. -Follow and promote CAD/PLM standards in collaboration with Business Systems, Engineering, and Operations. -Assist the CAD Administrator team in configuring and managing CAD environments within the Price Group of Companies. -Collaborate with the Business Systems team to help with software installations, updates, and user training coordination. -Help users locate drawing files and convert them into other formats when required. -Stay current on CAD/PLM trends and share improvement ideas with the CAD Admin team. -Help organize and maintain structured file systems, including applying standardized naming conventions.

What You Bring
-Proven ability to conduct presentations. -Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically while acting independently. -B.S or Technology Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required -Experience supporting CAD users over multiple communication formats (Email, Phone, Microsoft Teams, and In-person). -Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize, aligning with the department and corporate goals in mind. -Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in supporting engineering software systems. -Demonstrated ability in supporting engineering systems software, including PDM & PLM software solutions, considered an asset -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information. -Computer Science or Information Technology experience is considered an asset. -2- 5 years of experience in Solid Edge, Revit, AutoCAD, and Solid Works.
